Alonso Karel
Alonso Karel is a Mexican graphic designer, visual artist and serendipity lover based in Mexico City. He has a double degree in design from Mexico and Spain, where he finished his degree. He spent time in Spain amplifying his visual references and absorbing as much visual information as possible.
His work is described as “colourful, vibrant, eclectic and aesthetic”. As a young boy, he had a passion for arts, but it wasn’t until he was older that he considered art and design as a career path. Alonso’s transformative experiences, studies and jobs have helped to shape the artist he is today, and he looks forward to seeing what’s ahead.
He works with a variety of media including digital techniques, collage art, photography, 3D and motion graphics, but always keeping in mind an aesthetic style consistency. His inspiration comes from the beauty of nature, contemporary artists and photographers. Abstractism and minimalism are an essential part of his visual language.
Alonso has been featured as an Adobe artist and speaker, hosting webinars concerning photography and 3D imaging software Adobe Dimension. He has also been a featured speaker in Talent Land. Alonso is currently available for commissions upon request while he continues to produce personal projects and further collaborations.
