Lisbeth Søgård-Høyer
Danish collage artist Lisbeth Sogard-Hoyer works strictly analogue, producing all of her work by hand. Dissecting photographs from vintage books, magazines and printed ephemera, Lisbeth creates dynamic and compelling imagery that explores themes of ambiguity, womanhood and the relation between the sexes.
As an extension of her creative practice, Lisbeth also produces 3D assemblages, where she combines photographs and found materials in wooden boxes.
Lisbeth graduated from Danmarks Designskole (presently known as KADK) and completed studies at the Royal College of Art, London. She has exhibited her collages in New York, Barcelona, and Copenhagen. Additionally, Lisbeth is represented in The Scandinavian Collage Museum, Norway.
