Shabnam Anand Singh
Watercolourist Shabnam Anand Singh is inspired by the natural beauty, vibrant colours, and graceful forms of flowers. By focussing on the depth and detail of their seemingly endless centres, she feels able to portray human emotions, and plumbing the depths of each blossom becomes a metaphor for searching the depths of one’s soul.
Singh trained as a Textile Designer in New Delhi and has been painting and exhibiting since 1990. She currently splits her time between Dehra Dun, India and London, England.
Shabnam has enjoyed exhibiting her work in both solo and group shows in cities from London, New York to Dubai and across India. One of her most notable commissions was for 250 paintings for IHG (Intercontinental hotels, Holiday Inn) across the Asia Pacific region.
