Alexander Jackson

 
 

Artist and illustrator Alexander Jackson is influenced by film, music, animation and a broad range of visual art. His designs show a keen interest in character. Although originally trained in fine art, he subsequently studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, where he developed a more graphical style.

Alexander’s work is typically featured in editorial functions although often appears in publishing projects and advertising campaigns. His children’s book, Jenny’s Bath, was acknowledged by 3×3. Clients include PUMA, NHS Scotland, Big Issue, Gerald Duckworth, BBH London and Scottish Field.

His artwork is currently on display at the Scottish Design Exchange in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. He is preparing to exhibit work in the upcoming portrait exhibition at The Brick Lane Gallery, London.
