Miles is the guy behind the gunk! He’s an award-winning Scottish illustrator who creates bold, punky, mixed-media illustrations in both still and moving image. Just like we are socially sanctioned from letting the snot drip from our noses, we’re taught to contain the messier parts of the human condition. Miles’ work invites us to embrace the wobbly bits of our brains and bodies, through education, humour and compassion. His illustrations are often commissioned by clients in the charity sector.
Miles’ first love is music (sorry, drawings!). His aesthetic inspiration comes from musicians who use visuals to enhance the experience of their work. He is passionate about collaborating with artists and performers to bring their music and entertainment projects to life visually.
