Kazuki Yazaki

Kazuki Yazaki is a Japanese painter known creatively as Kana_Hawa.

He produces his beautifully detailed hand made artworks using digital techniques or with felt tip pen and fine liner pens. Kana_Hawa welcomes spontaneity into his creative practice, and explains, “I make them when I just feel the impression and without planning. So, I can make various kinds of artwork.”

His work is widely exhibited around the world. Recent and upcoming events include Offenen Ateliers, Cologne, Germany, (2020) GALLERY ART POINT, Tokyo (August 2020), Bunkageijututen sponsored by Nihonbungei.LLC at the Hilton Hotel, Tokyo (June 2020), AAA Gallery, Yokohama (April 2021) and “DREAM ROOM” at MADS MILANO, Milan, Italy (May 2020). In November 2008 he was the recipient of the CGC group award in the Japanese Children’s Painting Competition sponsored by CGC JAPAN CO.,LTD., The Mainichi Newspaper Co.,Ltd, the Ministry of Education and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Children’s Drawing.
