Giselle Adrianzén Saldaña

“My name is Giselle Adrianzén Saldaña. I am a graphic designer and illustrator from Lima, Peru. I studied a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).

Since 2015 I have worked in the field of design that I am most passionate about, editorial design. My clients include publishers such as Panamericana (Peru-Colombia), Fondo de Cultura Económica (Peru) and Crisol bookstores.

I have worked as a freelance illustrator since 2018, which is when I created my Instagram account (@giselle_adrianzen) where you can see my latest works. In most of my personal creations, I use elements of nature as allies that inspire me and allow me to compose in a way that manages to better transmit introspective reflections, catharsis and my personal style. I also love to test my illustrations using digital media which allows me to animate them.

I have exhibited my artwork in art galleries in Lima: Life Lines. Artistic Lines and Connections From Memory and Identity, a show of female students and graduates of the Faculty of Art and Design of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (2016) and Accomplices 2: Love, Humour and Shared Smiles (2019).”
