Ella Link
Ella Link is an experienced graphic designer and illustrator with a demonstrated history working in video editing, training, art direction, page layout, graphics and corporate design. She studied at the Design Fachhochschule in Münster, Germany, where she specialised in illustration, but prefers to describe herself as an autodidact, as she started began drawing at the age of 17 and learned the vast majority of her skills by herself.
Ella began her creative practice focussing on traditional illustration, with an inclination towards dotwork and watercolour. Her style evolved in 2017 when she started creating her work solely using digital tools. Ella enjoys the freedom and endless possibilities afforded by digital techniques, which lend themselves to her conceptual and surreal aesthetic. She says, “I like to think of my work as images of the world from ‘behind the curtain’ of reality.”
