Carolina Grosa
Carolina Grosa is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Turin, Italy. She studied at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Turin, majoring in illustration and graduated in 2015. She subsequently enrolled at the CSC School of Animation to study a 12-month specialisation in 2D Animation.
Her portfolio features a broad range of experience and skills, including visual communication projects and children’s illustration (entertainment and education genres). She was also a storyboard executive for advertising and graphic design clients. In addition to her commercial designs, her artwork has been featured in several art exhibitions. In her spare time, Carolina works on personal animation projects.
“My work is full of squashy shapes and funny characters. I love to play with both images and words. I’m fond of strong contrasts and complementary colours, but I always love to add a yellow touch.”
