Jillian Packer
Jillian is an Australian artist and illustrator who currently lives in the Netherlands.
She studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design at the Adelaide College of the Arts, in South Australia, majoring in printmaking. She has exhibited woodcuts, drypoint etchings and monotypes in exhibitions in Adelaide. Currently, she is working on children’s book illustrations and sells a range of limited edition giclée prints.
Jillian loves drawing away with her beloved black felt tip pen, using inks and watercolours to work in an intuitive and linear style. Her artwork is inspired by childhood memories and a love for nature play.
By looking at the real to create the imaginative, her naïve illustrations share small intimate moments between people and places.
