Anna Lesisz
Polish illustrator and artist Anna Lesisz (b.1983) has always been fascinated with portraits and caricatures. Her combination of realistic rendering and a playful approach to scale and facial proportions results in a beautiful, dynamic and at times, humorous representation of her subject.
Having graduated from the Institute of Visual Arts at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland in 2007, Anna is trained in a diverse variety of traditional media. Today, the majority of her work is produced digitally. However, it still maintains the warmth and tactile quality you would get as a result of working with traditional media by leveraging textured digital brushes and traditional techniques.
Anna specialises in producing wedding invitations and stationery, culinary illustration and artwork for children’s literature. She has worked with an international roster of clients throughout Ireland, Poland and Australia.
She currently lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Waterford, Ireland and is available for commission upon request.
