“Hi, I’m Dan, an illustrator based in the UK. I studied illustration at The University for the Creative Arts. I enjoy working with a range of creative techniques, especially digital painting. I’m inspired by numerous artists, but I particularly admire Kim Jung Gi, Josan Gonzalez (deathburger) and Ian Mcque for their world-building and character designs.
One of my career highlights was working on the set of the BBC/HBO TV series, His Dark Materials season two. I did prop fabrication and graphic design as part of my work experience at Bad Wolfe Studios, Cardiff. Even though I played a very small part in it, it was an unforgettable experience.”
