Chelsea Ellis

Chelsea Ellis is a digital illustrator based in Philadelphia. She received her B.F.A in Visual Arts in 2017. Chelsea specialises in character design for clients working in girl’s media and has also illustrated two children’s books. She is inspired by 80’s anime art and culture and prefers to use bright colours and cute visual motifs in her work. Her creative practice encompasses various genres of art, from anime-influenced cartoons to semi-realistic pieces. 

Chelsea is known for creating Twitch Emotes: custom emoticons that Twitch streamers use to promote their brand. One of her main clients is Keeyuh, a Twitch streamer who is well known for her humorous commentary while she plays video games. Chelsea has also featured work in RAW Artist’s 2018 Philadelphia exhibition.
