Shyr Godfrey
Shyr Godfrey is a designer and illustrator, currently residing with her husband and daughter on the sunny Hibiscus Coast, New Zealand.
She completed a Bachelor of Graphic Design at AUT University, majoring in illustration. During her studies, Shyr’s attraction for depicting people and animals in simple, black lines began to take shape.
Starting with pencil, and then perfected in fine-tip black pen, Shyr’s ideas come to life on paper. Her drawings are then transformed digitally using Adobe Illustrator, which she sees as the perfect tool for experimenting with colour and texture.
Shyr’s current focus is growing ‘Forty Thieves Nut Butters’, a boutique health food company she founded with her husband. Her professional training and passion for design have played an integral role in developing a beautiful and memorable brand identity.
