Bonnie Lau (RuoJing LIU)
Bonnie Lau is an artist and fashion illustrator, currently residing in Shanghai, China. An experienced professional creative, Bonnie has studied painting for over 20 years. She specialises in work for internet and magazine publishers and fashion houses. Her impressive roster of clients includes Dior, Louis Vuitton, Mervius and Lancôme.
Since childhood, Bonnie has been fascinated by the natural world, particularly the patterns, details and colours of insects, animals and flowers. Her signature aesthetic is characterised by the use of vivid colours to produce work with a striking visual impact. Bonnie’s creative process combines traditional and digital tools, including coloured pencil, watercolours, toner and an iPad.
In addition to her commercial practice, she is an active participant in the creative community as a signed illustrator of Vision China and member of professional institutions including, Shen Zhen Illustrator Institute and Jiang Su Artists Association.
