Christopher Dehesa
Christopher Dehesa currently resides in Zapopan, Mexico. He graduated from ITESO with a BA in design.
“I was born in 1992 and learned from an early age to observe and interpret life from different angles. Through my drawings, I found my way to talk about small, interesting topics, while showing wholeness and life at a single glance.
My creative practice is a surreal interpretation of ideas imagined while observing events of my life and the world, forming the shades fuelled with philosophical questions.
I prefer working with paper and pens; tangible articles have a more human feeling than screens. My most remarkable work was a 365 days project. This allowed me to acquire and develop my aesthetic style and explore everyday life and its ups and downs.
I have participated in exhibitions in Mexico and the United States and look forward to further exhibition opportunities.”
