“I live in Swindon, Wiltshire. I graduated in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in illustration from Swansea Institute of Higher Education. I am a professional tattoo artist and own a successful tattoo studio, Ruby Lou’s based in Swindon.

The biggest inspirations for my art comes from the likes of Glenn Arthur, Salvador Dali, and Loish. My style varies from realistic portraits to illustrative pop surrealism. I like to paint digitally. I also love oils, watercolour and mixed media. 

Publications include two paintings of Princess Diana published in Diana in Art (Mem Mehmet for Pop Art Books) and Enchanted published by Out of Step Books. I have worked tattoo conventions and won ‘Best Female Tattoo Artist’ at The Ink and Iron Tattoo Convention in Birmingham, UK in 2014.”
