Zilvinas Andriuskevicius
Zilvinas Andriuskevicius, also known as “Zil,” has developed an artistic aesthetic that is void of colour. This is intentional as in his work he wishes the colour range to be as much of a narrative device as the graphical elements themselves. In each digital image he creates, he tells a story, states a fact, reveals a truth, or toys with a misconception to titillate the viewers of his work.
Currently residing in Bergen, Norway, Zil earned his bachelor degree in illustration at Southampton Solent University in the United Kingdom and recently completed an MA degree in visual communication at the Kunst Music of Design (KMD) within the University of Bergen. During his masters, Zil produced an in-depth animated feature exploring social anxiety.
He is currently working as the lead illustrator in a collective of colleagues, who are also illustrators, producing editorial work for a student magazine called STOFF.
