Marina Vasconcelos
Marina Vasconcelos lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with “a very silly cat” named Cappuccino. She studied design and graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an animation pitch as her final thesis. Since graduation, she has worked as a background artist for TV animation programmes for series such as Jorel’s Brother, Trunk Train and Ico Bit Zip, where she also worked as the art director. Marina also produces digital art for editorial publications including children’s books and magazines, creating worlds filled with fairy tales, funny characters and vivid colour palettes. In her spare time, she dives into personal projects such as comics, sock puppets and making people laugh.
