“After ten years of military service, I decided to redirect my life as a traditionally trained artist. I enrolled at the American Academy of Art (Chicago) to begin my fine arts education and graduated in 2013 with a degree in oil painting. Like most millennials, I soon shifted my skills from physical to digital, which allows me to reach a broader art platform - without the mess and all of the materials needed.
My art contains portions of every experience I’ve had, consciously or subconsciously. As a result, I try to create the most realistic and detailed paintings possible. My goal is to evoke a sense of awe, leaving the viewer wondering if they are staring at a painting or a photograph.”
