Rachele Santini

“I’m an Italian illustrator, currently based near Milan, Italy. Since I was a child, I’ve always loved drawing, and my passion developed as I grew up. In 2018 I was fortunate enough to graduate from the European Institute of Design where I studied in illustration and 2D animation. 

After I completed university, I worked at an animation studio for a year. However, I decided to continue my career as a freelance illustrator and returning to my biggest passion: linocut and printmaking. Currently, I’m still working both in traditional and digital techniques, but I’m mostly focused on linoprint works and projects. I love to experiment with my work in a very material way, keeping an eye on the unexpected or for a mistake that could become a new value and source of strength in my illustrations.”
