Growing up in Northern England, Helen Cunningham of Lines and Wobbles Designs now resides in London, UK. She specialises in hand-drawn, black fine line pen work. Her work revolves around both her current city life and rural upbringing. She is inspired by using the detail of objects to make them as natural and simplistic
as possible. Following on from her monochrome work, she also now involves colour play with her painted backgrounds.

“I love finding how much flexibility there is in paper and pen, paint and ink. Traditional is far from boring; watching something come alive on the page because of a line of detail or brushstroke will always be exciting to me.”

Proudly self-taught and starting purely through word of mouth, her work includes selling print designs and taking on both personal and business commissions.
