Emily Bakke
Emily Bakke is an American artist currently based along the coast of North Carolina. Graduating from East Carolina University with a BFA in Animation/Interactive Design, she established her own business, Signed by EB, to explore the ‘endless possibilities’ as a freelance illustrator and motion graphics designer.
Combining her passions of character development and the performing arts, she finds inspiration in the ambience derived from music and the irregularity found in expressive mark-making and abstract forms. Her portfolio consists of traditional and digital artwork that embodies a style relating to elements found in Art Nouveau and Modern Pop Art.
Emily presents work driven by relatable emotions and natural movements present in day-to-day life with a fanciful spin. Expressing through bold colours and linework, her focus and experience are in character development, logo design, and 2D animation.
