Michel Mandurino
Italian painter, Michel Mandurino was born in the province of Brescia in 1986. He began his artistic training in high school, studying at the D. Celeri in Lovere, Bergamo. Michel subsequently enrolled at the Academy of Fine Art of Florence, where he studied the art of painting and graduated with honours and the highest score in the class.
Michel aims to evoke an erotic atmosphere in his artwork and the primary themes of his work combine elements of the feminine nude, esotericism, spirituality and the macabre. He revels in creating archaic and timeless images, and he particularly enjoyed painting a series of works focused on the Mother Goddess. After years dedicated to digital photography, Michel decided to refocus his work in 2018 and devoted himself entirely to painting and drawing. He currently divides his time between his studios in the north and south of Italy.
