Téa Cosmas
Téa Cosmas (TayCosmo) is an illustrator residing in Melbourne, Australia. She has a love of creating characters and stories stemming from the genres of fantasy and sci-fi, sometimes including an element of horror into the mix.
Pop culture, comics and video games are the primary inspirations for her artworks. She has attended Australia’s ‘Supanova Pop Culture Festival’ on numerous occasions to showcase her artwork and network with fellow artists. Téa has a love for both Eastern and Western aesthetics and cartoons, and their influence can be traced through the development of her varied visual styles.
Téa has been developing her craft for over a decade, her learning derives from extensive and ongoing self-teaching, accompanied by a certificate of visual arts and a diploma of illustration. Her creative practice varies in the use of both traditional and digital techniques; however, her primary media includes fineliner pens and graphite pencils, with the addition of alcohol markers for producing coloured creations.
