Mayumi Komiyama
Mayumi Komiyama is an artist and healer living in Tokyo. After studying painting independently, she then studied under Mizumaru Anzai, a Japanese illustrator. Her style is bright, whimsical and positive, as she believes in the power of colour and colour schemes to affect people’s emotions, bringing passion and a healing energy to their lives.

Using acrylic paint and coloured pencils, her work offers images that expand a story, having original messages which give the paintings depth and brilliance. She participated in a picture book exhibition and received the textile design award from a clothing designer.
