Oksana (Moonsand) Bocharova

“I graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics at the Pedagogical University. My graduation project consisted of five illustrations based on Lewis Carroll’s book, Alice Through the Looking Glass. After university, I worked as a graphic designer, and my clients included concert venues and musicians, cafes and restaurants.

In 2019, I began to focus my creative practice in illustration. I often use coloured pencils, markers and watercolours in my work. I also enjoy using digital techniques to create vector graphics. I currently work as a freelance illustrator. My main client is game studio Beresnev, and I focus on the creation of vector illustrations for their colouring game, Gallery. 

In addition to my commercial clients, I am also developing a personal project where I write the imaginary adventures of Moonch, a tabby cat - and perhaps someday, this project will turn into a book. My main source of inspiration is my experiences in life. My family, friends, nature and travel all provide ideas for my work.”
