Adéla Marie Jirku
The land, people and wildlife of the mountainous region of Valašsko, Czech Republic, is at the heart of the subject matter of painter and illustrator Adéla Marie Jirků. This was her birthplace, and where she spent her adolescence. Although she no longer lives here, this region still resonates strongly with the artist today.
Having studied illustration at AAADt (Prague), and painting at ESADMM (Marseille), Adéla has a well-rounded skill set and is accomplished with a diverse range of media. This skill set enables Adéla to work across a wide variety of projects, encompassing commercial illustration, as well as commissioned and personal fine-art projects.
An active member of the art scene in Prague, Adéla has completed many solo showings and group exhibitions including Landscapes, Georgs-Halle, Javorník, CZ (2019) and Something from Aunt Mary, Galerie Ve Věži, Mělník, CZ (2018).
Adéla currently resides in Prague, Czech Republic and is available for commission upon request.
