Martin Quiroz
Martin Quiroz is a photographer from Santiago, Chile. He studied graphic design at Universidad del Pacifico, but his photography practice is self-taught.
Martin finds inspiration in the works of Chilean photographer, Sergio Larrain as well as Lee Jeffries and Robert Capa. He is always looking for new documentary photographers to be inspired by.
“In 2014, I made my first solo exhibition. This was called “Del Papel a la Piel”. These photographs showed the experience of making a tattoo. Emotions as fear, anxiety, happiness, pain and others were captured in my photographs.”
Between 2018-19 Martin’s work appeared in art books published in Spain, ‘Flamantes 09’ and ‘JPGBOOK Nº3’. He is currently creating a new photography project, which he aims to exhibit and subsequently publish in a photography book.
