Olga Doberstein
Olga Doberstein is a young Russian artist and architect who currently resides in Munich.
She discovered her passion for painting as a child and attended a Moscow art school in addition to her gymnasium education. In 2018 Olga completed her studies and graduated as a Master of Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich.
Olga works mostly with oil and pastel, following two basic concepts and styles. Her artwork aims to convey a feeling of movement. Olga’s abstract pictures depict different forms of energy, which are continuously developing or expressed as contrasting opposing themes such as ‘light’ and ‘dark’. Her portraits aim to evoke a sense of depth, and she achieves this by using the eyes of her subject as a focal point to create a unique and profound atmosphere.
