Kata Koleszár
Kata Koleszár received her painting diploma at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest. She currently resides in Hungary.
In her paintings, she critically scours the world’s image of beauty to fully understand its impact on our societal world view of the human body. She imagines the utopistic beauty without any category. Her new artwork sees her interest turn from bodies to forests, gardens and flowers, representing their beauty in a very different way.
Kata maintains an active painting studio and collaborates with different art institutions, including the Anouk Foundation. She participates in a variety of group exhibitions and has also held several solo shows and vernissages in recent years.
