Yaeli Vogel
Envisioning the poetry in every artwork that she paints, Yaeli Vogel appreciates the melee of the painted surface as it comes to life with its own vibrancy. In creating such visual poetry of colour and form, Vogel hopes to inspire those around her to contemplate what is most important in life. Painting, for Vogel, is as much a mode of personal expression as it is a vehicle for a viewer’s individual introspection, a facet that adds remarkable depth to Vogel’s overall body of work.
Vogel is inspired by the playful use of colour characterised by French painters Claude Monet and Henri Matisse. She often incorporates the rich details and accent of Viennese master Gustav Klimt in her experimentation of rhythm and pattern. The result is a unique aesthetic that speaks a language of colour that, when combined, creates masterpieces.
Vogel is currently based in Cedarhurst, New York and is available for commission upon request.
