LEE Su Bin
“I draw pictures by recording and discovering the joys of everyday life. I’m happy with everything that’s been shown in the present when so many colours mingle with dancing.”
LEE Su Bin is a Korean artist who currently resides in Seoul. She describes her work as a “discovery of joy”. Su Bin studied art at college and subsequently enrolled at the SI Picture Book visual arts institute, where she studied Picture Books.
Her experience also includes commissions for a variety of industries including magazines, fashion, pop art and album artwork. In addition to her commercial experience, ‘i_and_you’ is a personal brand that represents her pictures.
Su Bin finds inspiration in artists Picasso, Hockney and Niki de Saint Phalle. She has exhibited and sold work at the Korean illustration fair, and her paintings are currently on display in galleries and cafés.
