Agnieszka Mrowca-Turek
Agnieszka Mrowca-Turek (b. 1994) is a painter residing in Poland. She works using traditional techniques, favouring acrylic paint and linen canvases. Nature and colours often inspire her work, and she aims to create what she would like to see or to reinterpret a subject that inspired her. Agnieszka admires the Young Poland artistic period, particularly the atmosphere of those paintings. In her art, realism is often blended with elements of fantasy. Through her art, Agnieszka wants paintings to be felt or even heard. Each painting she creates brings new stories and thoughts. Her creative process always makes space to enable her to reflect on her painting to rediscover it daily.
She has participated in individual and collective exhibitions in Poland. Her painting was published in the prestigious ELLE Decoration magazine and she has experience designing artwork for music albums.
