The rich, textural work of contemporary painter Anne Greenstreet combines spontaneous and energetic brushstrokes with a fanciful subject matter to produce compelling imagery that evokes a strong emotional response from the viewer.
Her lifetime of varied artistic study combined with a talent for math and engineering lends a unique perspective to her work, often resulting in a strong sense of structure within her compositions.
American portrait artist John Singer Sargent feeds inspiration for her work along with Daniel Sprick and Ashley Longshore.
Having received artistic training from The Academy of Art University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Classical Art Academy in Boulder, as well as holding BS and MS degrees in engineering, she is accomplished in many forms of media and technique.
