Thomas Chedeville (Tomadee)
Born in 1979, Tomadee (Thomas Chedeville) is a French artist currently based in Paris. With spray paint, ripped paper, symbols, shapes and more, Thomas creates and recreates a familiar and intriguing cacophony of images. Starting his creative career in his twenties, he began his work as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director for a major advertising agency.
Thomas has directed video clips and even fabricated handmade cartoon illustrations for French television. For over 15 years, his primary focus has been on collage and painting. In 2017, he became the first resident artist at Deux6 art gallery in Paris.
Street art is also a big part of his work. Under the pseudonym “Tomadee”, his work lives in the streets of many cities around the world, including an in-progress street art installation located in one of the biggest train stations in Paris.
Thomas is represented by gallery Deux6 (Paris).
